The timelessly comforting appeal of a traditional wood burning fireplace with a minimalist contemporary design, incorporating crisp straight edge that offer a rigid contrast to the fluidity of the flames, visible through the large glass window.
Beautifully crafted features such as the black handle that blends seamlessly with the rich dark grey of the cast iron body, and the unrivalled flame which is the result of a large ceramic glass panel, kept clean by the inbuilt air-wash system the E-40 emits a constant, gentle warmth due to the heat retention properties of its cast iron body. Even the internal plates of the combustion chamber is constructed from cast iron, which will allow the fire to continue emitting heat even after the fire has died down.
Controlling the E-40 couldn’t be easier. A simple slider located under the plinth, slides to adjust the output of heat, and with a large load capacity you can achieve a longer lasting burn.
The E-40 is cast in Hergom’s own foundry in Santander Spain. This allows them to control the entire production process of their fireplaces. From the original design, right through to the casting, Hergom uses the finest in raw materials and components.
